Red, White and Blue Recycle Bins

WHITE BIN - MIXED PAPER ONLY:

  • Old mail, magazines, catalogues
  • Envelopes, stationary, labels, cartons and bags
  • Note, copy, fax, and computer paper
  • Shoe and cereal boxes; please flatten
  • Paper towels, plates, napkins, dirty and soiled papers
  • Wax or plastic coated papers (milk frozen food or juice containers)
  • Plastic, foiled tissue or carbon paper

RED BIN - NEWSPAPER:

  • Newsprint
  • Inserts
  • Adds
  • Plastic delivery bags
  • Rubber bands

BLUE BIN - CANS, GLASS AND PLASTIC CONTAINERS:

  • Glass bottles and jars - All colors; labels okay; remove caps; rinse bottles and jars; avoid breaking glass. Place loose in bin.
  • Aluminum cans, tin cans and foil - remove paper labels and recycle with mixed paper. Rinse all cans clean. PLEASE FLATTEN
  • Plastic Containers - Bottles, jugs, caps and rings, cups, tubs, pails, buckets and lids. Please remove metal handles and FLATTEN
  • Window glass, windshields, light bulbs, mirrors, fluorescent tubes, cfl light bulbs, ceramics or Pyrex
  • Oil filters, air filters or aerosol cans
  • Plastic pumps, utensils, Styrofoam, foam sheets, foam rubber or plastic toys
  • Any plastic, glass or metal containers that held potentially hazardous products such as motor oil, antifreeze, paints pesticides, etc...
